Terms of Use
Updated: October 22, 2026
These terms describe Wordlio for iOS and its optional Wordlio Plus service. The app’s software licence is Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement. Nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
1. Learning with Wordlio
Wordlio supports vocabulary learning, spaced repetition and language practice. You are responsible for content you add, import or share and for keeping copies of data important to you. Do not use the service unlawfully, infringe others’ rights, share lesson access tokens, bypass access controls or automate abusive requests.
2. Features that remain free
Your dictionary, adding words by text, voice or photo, word sets, ordinary reviews, favourites, import and export, statistics, themes, reminders and the pronunciation trainer do not require Wordlio Plus.
3. Free AI lessons
Without Plus, you can try three AI lessons in each of these categories: situations, role dialogues and conversations using vocabulary from your sets. This is up to nine lessons in total. It is a one-time allowance associated with your App Store app transaction, not a new allowance every month or after reinstalling.
These free lessons are not an automatically renewing subscription trial. Using them does not itself start a subscription or charge you. Buying Plus requires a separate confirmation in Apple’s purchase interface.
4. Wordlio Plus and the monthly allowance
Both monthly and annual subscriptions provide the same features: up to 100 AI lessons in total across the three categories per calendar month. The calendar month is measured in UTC and is independent of your subscription billing date. An annual subscription provides a new allowance each calendar month while it is active, not all twelve months of lessons at once. Unused lessons do not roll over. Changing or renewing a plan within the same calendar month does not reset the counter.
A lesson is counted when its first AI request is processed. If the first request fails before any successful AI response is generated, the attempt is returned. Continuing the same lesson, using reply help or requesting mistake analysis does not count as another lesson. Individual lessons have message and assistance-request limits so a single lesson is finite. Starting another conversation is another lesson.
5. Price, payment and renewal
Choose a monthly or annual plan in the app. The full price, currency and billing period supplied by your App Store storefront are shown before purchase. Any monthly equivalent for an annual plan is for comparison; the annual total is billed for the year. Discounts are comparisons with twelve monthly payments at the displayed current monthly price.
Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel renewal through Apple before renewal. You can manage or cancel your subscription in App Store account settings. Cancelling renewal normally leaves access available for the rest of the paid period. Deleting Wordlio does not cancel a subscription.
Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple under its applicable policies and mandatory consumer rights. A verified refund or revocation may end access. If a subscription is not recognised, use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account that made the purchase. Restore does not charge again or reset lesson counters. Family Sharing is not enabled for Wordlio Plus.
6. AI and pronunciation feedback
Online AI features require your consent and an internet connection. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate; review it before relying on or sharing it. Wordlio provides educational practice, not professional advice. Pronunciation scores based on recognised text measure recognised-word agreement and are not a clinical or phonetic assessment of speech.
7. Availability and your data
Online features depend on Apple, Cloudflare, DeepL and OpenAI as applicable. Interruptions can occur. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a particular learning outcome. We may improve or change features, but these terms do not override mandatory consumer rights or Apple’s rules for existing purchases. Please contact us about a paid feature that is unavailable.
The Privacy Policy explains local storage, optional text processing and the subscription and lesson records handled by our backend.
8. Contact and updates
Contact Tatsiana Knysh at 4sup.emailmehere@gmail.com for support or questions about these terms. Updated terms will be published here with a revised date. Existing purchases remain subject to applicable Apple terms and mandatory consumer law.
